Proposed Building

Alliance Medical Group Building
We do not dwell because we have built, but we build and have built because we dwell." Martin Heidegger.

Existing building.

The Alliance Medical Group building is the project of a lifetime, at least for its owner, a Doctor in Chiropractic.

He started his practice at this location over 20 years ago...on one single room attached to his private residence.

Time saw this building grow along with the owner’s growing family and practice. The remembrance of a challenging past lays sculpted in each wall of this dwelling.

With this project, the owner wanted to transform this building once again and to dress it in new clothes. "It has to be fun, alive, and has to be unique in this town," he told his architect. "I want an Art Deco building," he added.

The zoning constraints and the economical requirements to keep the existing footprint and structure, added to the challenge of the design intention.

The result has been a building that answered to all of the owner’s requirements, but most important, a building that is the testimony of a lifetime.
